シーバットの機能は下記の通りです。

最高速度50ノット（約100キロ弱　今でも45ノットが最高です）。

元来の潜水艦よりも凄い速さで、急速潜航、急速浮上、急速旋回が可能。

最高深度1200m（今でも500m前後が最高と言われている）。

Greatly faster than the original submarine, capable of rapid diving, rapid surfacing and rapid turning.

600メートル以下は潜水艦が圧壊する海域だと言われています。

魚雷の最高搭載数50本（元来はだいたい20本弱）。

チタン外装甲が厚く数カ月間も深海で滞在できて、もし原子炉エンジンが爆発しても、

その周りも数重構造で守られているので、放射能が外に漏れることはありません。

Below 600 metres is said to be the area where submarines are crushed.

今、シーバットと同じ性能を持つ潜水艦を造ろうとしたら、

開発費用に天文学的な数字のお金が必要ですし、技術も追いついていないのが現状です。

いかに潜水艦シーバットがバケモノ級なのか理解していただけたでしょうか？

人物が入るとこうなります

物語では、シーバットの建設費は日本持ちで、機能は両国の最新技術を用いたものでした。

クルーは全員元自衛隊員で、偽装事故を起こして日本で死亡した後、

アメリカ軍の第七艦隊の一員となる予定だったのです。

In the story, Japan paid for the construction of the Seabat,

and its function was to use the latest technology from both countries.

All crew members were supposed to have died in an accident in Japan.

They were to belong to the US Seventh Fleet.
